Stoneground White Spelt Flour 5kg

Spelt flour is wheat flour made from the entire grain (bran, endosperm, germ), it is less refined.  It is often referred to as an ancient flour. Each type of wheat has its own properties and flavor. Spelt flour performs the closest to all-purpose white flour while having a lot more flavor. 

Spelt flour has a similar nutritional profile to common wheat. It is slightly higher in protein, but also slightly lower in insoluble fiber. Spelt is also higher in some important vitamins. For these reasons, it is often seen as a healthier alternative to white flour.
